Fuck Lacava. What exactly is he bringing to the table at this point? He's not reading putts, and he is constantly giving him 1 less club than he needs. At least he is helping to put him in a good frame of mind under pressure.....Oh wait.

And don't get me wrong, I respect Lacava's body of work to this point. But come on man, take some fucking initiative!
I've tried to explain it by saying that they just need more time together, but at this point, I just think this partnership seems forced. Doesn't seem like it's working, and that's being nice.

tiger reads his own putts. one of the greatest putters ever. if he asks you for help you do it. otherwise stay the fuck away. it was a 6 footer. what was he supposed to do there say just dont push it. he's a good caddie especially mentally. tiger stuck the approach on 18. facts are facts tiger's putter sucks now. thats what he needs work on. chipping and putting because besides his sand game its terrible

I in no way referenced the putt on 18. That is 100% on Tiger. Being short a club the whole back nine is on Lacava. He should have hit 8 on 12, 6 on 13, driver on 15, and 6 on 16. Those are just the ones that I can name off the top of my head, and I only caught from hole 11 on today.
im not putting it all on lacava. tiger showed up in tucson on tuesday. didnt know the yardage difference due to elevation. he should be preparing better. this isnt 2000 tiger. plus the wind picked up today. tiger is basically a club longer than watney. lacava even looked in watneys bag on the par 3's to see what he was hitting. if he flushed it the 9 would have gotten to 12

Stanley- 6 iron
Tiger- 7 iron
This is a problem.
But in the end, there are many little things that are slightly off with Tiger's game (caddy-player relationship being one of them). He isn't far away. I do agree with you though that it starts and stops with the chipping and putting. His driver is actually much better than last year, and while the irons aren't exactly where he'd like them to be, they are good enough to win.

plus lacava is from jersey and is a giants fan so you will never hear a bad word about him from me lol
13 was huge though too and won't get much attention. Tiger hit a booming drive in perfect position on the 568 yard par 5. He takes out 7 iron from just about 240 yards. That's insane and stupid. He came up a obvious full club too short and ended up next to Watney in the right collection area of fringe in a chipping contest. He really had the chance to get on on that hole and it would've changed the whole dynamic of the match.
