Evidence other than the map. I get that the map is a case against, but when there's still no other site that anyone is talking about other than wishful thinking, when all of the people who come up with counter theories admit to making them up or lying, then it becomes a lot easier to imagine a map not meaning what we thought it did instead of a massive conspiracy to fool people...

I'll admit I have no idea where it is. I do have a "source" as vague as it is, but I don't put much credibility into it. It's one of those, "well, a friend in VT...".

To add to that... you would go for a three day cruise and not a two day, this being the first festival to be a three day event.

I've heard its most likely Indio, but the other 2 potentials are a site just outside of Yuma, AZ and Vegas.

Just thinking logically here now, not referring to any super secret sources I may or may not have, which makes more sense - Phish signing fake contracts, having someone tell an Indio area paper that they were going to meet with Phish management before suddenly clamming up, paying the Polo Grounds constantly answer, "No comment," to the slew of calls that are annoying them instead of the, "No," that would end it all, having logistical discussions with people who would be needing to organize a festival - all of which were either in the media or talked about by people who have good reputations on this board (so they're probably not making up the discussion) all as part of a practical joke or Phish put up a graphic to create a few days of confusion and discussion.

until we get ANY indication that this festival is anywhere else other than indio, its most likely in indio. 3 months is not that long to prepare for a festival of this size.

People were reporting the permits being issued for 10/30-1/1 for Coachella BEFORE the website went live...

I had friends call the Polo Grounds (yeah, yeah, but what can you do) after CA went away and got the, "No comment," response.

if i had to bet I would say its in Indio. Too many solid people making that claim well before the map went up. Just like they did for Hampton, RR and Broo.

I have no vested interest in making this claim since I will be in Disney World 10/24-10/31 with my wife and kids. My only hope is that it is in Cypress or somewhere in FL and I could catch the last night.
