FOTM beer is hands down terrible, borderline criminally bad. Had a free pitcher to split between 4 guys in the beer industry last month...no one finished their pint. Tastes like...soap? I think we had the rye. I heard they hired a brewer away from McMenamins. WTF were they thinking on that one? Serious head scratcher. Thats like stealing the pizza maker from Its a Beautiful Pizza.
Stoked for Dr. Dog! Ready to get my philly on. Thanks for the update on ticket availability. Less left than expected. New album is the shiz.

MyComet, you probably had some off one of their first batches. The stuff I had last night wasn't all that bad, wasn't all that great either. It doesn't taste all that different from homebrew I've made, which isn't saying a lot. I'd give them a bit to work out the kinks and fine tune their recipes to that brew system. If it's still mediocre in a couple months, then it's time to start getting worried. Hiring someone away from McMenemins isn't necessarily a death-wish, though - one of Block 15's guys is a MM vet, and they are absolutely killing it.

Don't miss out on Lawn Boy next Thursday the 16th at the Goodfoot! Featuring members of Philly's Phunkestra and Mars Retrieval Unit... The headiest of jamz and greasy segues will occur. The PDX Phish Phry will happen the night before, if you want to hear some real Phish beforehand.

Still shopping around for Wilco ticket..recommendation for best seats in the Shnitz? Only been there once and I was way up there.
The dress circle (tickets that were re-re'd a few days ago) are the best seats in the house. Those sections are 4 rows deep, and row A (first row) starts at above the 15th row of the orchestra floor below. Perfect 3/4 overhead view of the entire stage, and perfect sound.
Anyone ever sat lower balcony? To far away?
I listened to an AUD of the Eugene show. They sound really good these days. I really can't find much fault in their playing.
*Too
Schnitz seating chart.
Lower balcony starts after the dress circle and the mezzanine at row 13 of the upper level. Plus two aisle-ways in between. You're looking at an extra 20 feet of elevation over the dress circle and probably the equivalent of the 35th row of the floor below.

Wilco? Really? Yuck.
Carry on.
Carry on.
Didn't you just post a Madonna date in Seattle on the previous page? :)
i loved wilco's first few albums. paid to see them in 02, good show. last saw them for free in 05. decent show; it was in the streets for free so it was more for the party.
won't be seeing them again.
