man, i really miss mad dog. i listen to him on sirius but really neither one of them is nearly as good without the other. francesa's ego always was huge, but it hasn't been reined it at all since russo left WFAN.
I listen to mad dog unleashed. Russo is better solo than mike. However, they clearly miss each other
Kim Jones will be Francesa's new partner. She just turned down a new contract from YES. She was basically his partner with the Penn State case, since she's from Harrisburg and went to Penn State.

I wouldn't be so sure. I think Mike is extremely prideful and may actually feel like anyone else would bring his show down. He also mentioned recently that he might start thinking about retirement after the Super Bowl comes to Giants Stadium. Mind you, I'm not saying you are wrong, and I really like Mike and Kim together, I'm just not sure this will happen.
Mike retires then jumps over to the new Mad Dog and Mike show on Sirius

He's not that old, though. He could be looking for MORE time off, if that's possible, or another raise. He doesn't fit with ESPN since he doesn't know anything (Bayless is doing the job he would do). He keeps saying he and Dog won't reunite, but I'm not too sure. The question becomes who would do drive-time? Evan Roberts?
they were really good,

lol. you know they actually hate each other right? i remember the first time i found this out like 10 years ago and i couldn't believe it since they always seemed to have such a great rapport on the show. once they started simulcasting the show on YES it became glaringly obvious that the only time they ever actually talked to each other was when they were live on the air.
i'm generally not a big bill simmons fan but i remember this column being pretty hilarious when i read it back in the day. i think mike & chris found it amusing too if i'm remembering correctly.
