This pretty much describes every single campground near deer creek. I remember the last time I pulled into Close-By the guy who was supposed to be directing traffic was phished out on the ground with a balloon in his mouth.
The only campground that ISN'T private property is the Deer Creek onsite camping. In 20+ deer creek camping trips I've never camped there, so I have no idea about that scene (other than the fact that there's basically zero shade and more cops

Great facilities, lots of space - wonderful people running the place. We organized a two hand touch football game one day. We met awesome neighbors, and the shows were incredible. Wait, so are y'all naive enough to thank that these "Private-Properties" give you a free-pass to do whatever?
"B-b-b-b-b-b-b-but officer, this is private property, you can't do that!

I havnt missed DC since 97'......Private-Properties as you called them...have there own security....Ive never once seen anyone get arrested at DC off site camping ...not once!
so to answer your question...yes you get a free pass to do what ever...unless you are staying at on site camping....there are cops on patrol...

Sleepy Bear is closer to the entrance of DC than on site is. Ranger Pete ftw
