This was my second show.
7/10/00 being my first.

I've not seen a concert that has reached the pure unadulterated ENERGY that 7/11/00 had.
A Barn Burner!!!

There was a point in that second set where I looked around the lawn and I was SERIOUSLY in a different plain/dimension. I felt as if I was dancing on the surface of the moon. I remember it so vividly too. I asked an older Phan that was next to me, "Where Are We? Is this supposed to happen?" He looked around as wide-eyed as I was and simply smiled and responded, "Yes!"
I had transcended.
That Whole Fucking Amphitheater Transcended.

UFOs.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And at $20 a ten strip or $100 a sheet, I wish I would've bought 10,000 of those badass mother fuckers!!!
I remember them having kinda a "biting" feeling to them. A "gnashing" in my head.

The Phish-ness of that DC Run hasn't been equalled for me since.
But, Dick's came close. I've got High hopes for this summer.

Something that Always Comes Up in these DC 2000 threads is the UFO acid.
There's DEFINETLY something to say about having almost EVERYONE on the SAME L at the same show. The unity, the "we're all in this together"-ness is What hooked me. If there is Anything this community needs other than a more "consistent" band to rally around is A LOT more quality LSD. And for all the aging Phans /Jaded Vets to get back on the L-Train and start having fun again with the newbies.

I had em on Lego Candy and on Paper.
Definetly the same L too.
I remember the ten strips we had then looked like someone drew 10 little UFOs all the way up the strip. My GF at the time bought one strip on the 9th, during Phil & Bob. And we picked up a few more from a different kid on the night of the 11th.

This is the first I've heard them being refered to as "candy" specifically.
