I have been on a dead binge of late, looking for some more of their crap. Looking at the dicks picks I was wondering which ones are the best and which ones are definitely not worth downloading. Quality of the tape is also important for me thanks.

Englishtown, for sure. i think it's #15?

#16 is awesome primal Dead. the best '60's show of the DP releases, for sure.

DP 1 through 4, too.

DP #8 absolutely.

DP #12 is a great combo of some '74 shows.

there's a lot of good stuff.

i have never been satisfied with any '90s DP release, though.

Spring 1990 box, though, is fuggin' titties.

Dicks Picks 24 is pretty mediocre. I'm not sure why they decided to release that, but it's 3/23/74. I believe it was the debut of the Wall of Sound, so maybe they released it on DP for it;s historical value in the Dead community, or something. Shit I dont know.

I do know DP 12 and 31 are made up of better '74 shows.

You are going to get a lot of different answers on this one, but Dick's Picks Volume 3 is one that I go to over and over.

Check out DP 2, 4, 8, 10, and 15. #6 is great too, and it was Trey's first Dead show.

DP 3 - classic 77 show with killer Help>Slip>Franks, and an all time second set.
DP 8 - must have early acoustic set, but sound is B/B+
DP 12 - my fav and a desert island disk. The 74 prime of the Grateful Dead jamz.
DP 15 - more 77, killer eyes

Friday and Sunday night I'm guessing will be the best nights at Dicks to pick to go to.

The DPs shows are all solid. My favs are anything from 72 through 74. The Boston Music Hall show from 73 is clutch - sorry but I can't remember the number.
