Thinking about cooking up some infused liquor drinks for the upcoming fall season.

First one I'm trying is vodka + pumpkin + vanilla bean.

Second one: vodka + mango + pear (for the ladies).

Has anyone done this before? Any advice?

Not so much fall but

Jalapenos + silver tequila, make some limonada with simple syrup and 2 limes for every lemon, juice some mangos.

Mango jalapeno margarita

Oh and let it sit for a while. Until you can smell the jalapenos over the tequila.

i've done basic bacon bourbons, butter rums & fruited vodkas. they're very easy - for the bacon bourbon & butter rum, take warm bacon fat or melted butter & add to the alcohol, shake it & let it sit our for 3 hours & then refrigerate overnight at least. all fat will go to the top - just skim it & enjoy your infusion. adjust 'soak' time according to resulting taste.

you all know that vanilla extract is really just vanilla beans soaked in alcohol right?
