it can be a method of cooking something you didn't know prior, a product, anything.

here's mine:

tried every dressing they have at Whole Foods the other day, and they all were great. An oil-less Italian, cream-less Ranch among others. They all taste wonderful and can be used as a salad dressing, or you can cook with them.

Psychologically speaking I can't force myself to get into that. I've tried it in the past, it tasted okay but my brain does not like the idea.

Been getting way into vegan and raw cooking. Something new this week, fermenting Pistachio and making "cheese" with it. Spare me the hippy comments, I worked in several classic restaurants and went to culinary school when I was younger. I love making french sauces as much as anyone else, I still like meat, in fact, I think meat eaters should have to kill and butcher their own meat. But it's fun to explore this stuff. Some great vegan recipes out there.

also my entry, what I call pomberries, I use it in a salad. they are crimson raisins (gigantic, amber, sweet) that I poach in fresh pomegranate juice. the result is a juicy, plump tart and sweet raisin

interesting technique dazed...I am going to have to give that a shot. I eat lots of meat, but I tend to stay away from dairy for the most part. Thanks for posting

I made eggs in a basket a couple nights ago. For those that don't know it's where you make a hole in the center of the bread then toss in pan>egg on top, this time I covered with some ham and bacon I had in fridge, covered w/cheese. The big move was spreading grape jelly on the plate b4, then laying egg in a basket on top. It was glorious.

Mix in a dash of cayenne with your ground beef, and your burgers will have a nice little kick.

Wife has made this goat cheese roasted chicken a few times recently. It is so freaking easy and delicious.

I've posted about it here before

a good app for tailgating.....dates stuffed with goat cheese and an almond, then wrapped in bacon and baked in the oven.

OR

a good first course I made recently....smear goat cheese on two small costinis and place on plate, spoon lentils over the bread pieces and top with sauteed swiss chard and a piece of crispy pancetta. drizzle with balsamic red wine reduction.

You can also skip the bacon and toast whole almonds for that first one. So good!
