it can be a method of cooking something you didn't know prior, a product, anything.

tried every dressing they have at Whole Foods the other day, and they all were great. An oil-less Italian, cream-less Ranch among others. They all taste wonderful and can be used as a salad dressing, or you can cook with them.

Psychologically speaking I can't force myself to get into that. I've tried it in the past, it tasted okay but my brain does not like the idea.

yuck. I do not care for hollindaise at all.
Been getting way into vegan and raw cooking. Something new this week, fermenting Pistachio and making "cheese" with it. Spare me the hippy comments, I worked in several classic restaurants and went to culinary school when I was younger. I love making french sauces as much as anyone else, I still like meat, in fact, I think meat eaters should have to kill and butcher their own meat. But it's fun to explore this stuff. Some great vegan recipes out there.
also my entry, what I call pomberries, I use it in a salad. they are crimson raisins (gigantic, amber, sweet) that I poach in fresh pomegranate juice. the result is a juicy, plump tart and sweet raisin
interesting technique dazed...I am going to have to give that a shot. I eat lots of meat, but I tend to stay away from dairy for the most part. Thanks for posting

Kumamoto oyster shooters
chuck eye steak is awesome on the grill. won't pay the $$ for a ribeye again phanners. i always skipped them over because they're cheap.
I made eggs in a basket a couple nights ago. For those that don't know it's where you make a hole in the center of the bread then toss in pan>egg on top, this time I covered with some ham and bacon I had in fridge, covered w/cheese. The big move was spreading grape jelly on the plate b4, then laying egg in a basket on top. It was glorious.
White shell macoroni with chicken andouli sausage style. Lil Parmesan. Thank me later
Carribean style braised oxtail.
cool! I'll try to find a recipe and post in here sometime today
I made a nice summer wrap from soft rice paper, filled with massaged kale, rice noodles, roasted organic flax and soy tempeh and an ume plum and peanut sauce. was mighty tasty I put it on the menu and people love it
Mix in a dash of cayenne with your ground beef, and your burgers will have a nice little kick.

a good app for tailgating.....dates stuffed with goat cheese and an almond, then wrapped in bacon and baked in the oven.
OR
a good first course I made recently....smear goat cheese on two small costinis and place on plate, spoon lentils over the bread pieces and top with sauteed swiss chard and a piece of crispy pancetta. drizzle with balsamic red wine reduction.
