yeah, a one man band for the headliner is a snoozer for sure. that'll be the night i hit the beach early, if so.

rumor has it almost sold out already. friend of mine works for ticketing fulfillment and said hangout sold 30K+ in the first 24 hours. don't sleep if you plan on going.

It is almost sold out that is true.
There are supposedly only 30K tix but you know how promoters are, they lie about that shit all the time to make more money.
I've heard there are about 2K tix left.
I'm going. After the time we had last year I could care who plays! The experience alone was better than any other festival I've EVER been to. Already have the condo booked. Can't wait to be on that beach.

yeah i thought they were going to announce something last week???? i really doubt they only have 2,000 tickets left. But who knows.....

we'll see. to be exact he said 29,000 sold in the first day. he's worked for frontgate, music today, phishtix, etc. no reason for him to make shit up. he's not even really a music fan, more a programmer for the ticketing database.
well, it sold out today. guess the 29K in the first day wasn't that far off. ;-)
