I'm heading to Tahoe with a group of friends this Thursday through next tuesday. Any shows I should checkout? Looking for some local advice on what I should checkout while in town.

Supposed to be a ski trip, but with the lame snow pack this year I'm not sure how much skiing will go down. Recommendations on the best disc golf courses would be greatly appreciated!

hmmm I think most of the parks to visit are closed, everyone is supposed to be skiing ::curses the sky:: Its a weird time everything is geared up and scheduled for winter but she still hasn't shown up. But Emerald Bay is always beautiful. There are some hikes there up to some falls. Also fun is a cruise on the paddle wheelers (there are two) http://www.zephyrcove.com/

not too many good shows this weekend (last weekend though) http://www.jambase.com/shows/Shows.aspx?ArtistID=0&VenueID=0&City=South%20Lake%20Tahoe&State=ca&Zip=96150&radius=50&StartDate=2/22/2012&EndDate=2/22/2013&Rec=False&pagenum=1&pasi=50

don't disc so I don't know about that. otherwise just eat, drink and gamble. Clubs in casinos if you're into clubs.

Do you spin fire by chance?

Is Snowlive this weekend or this week?

3 nights of Soulive and guests, probably going to kick ass I am sure.

Holy crap this weekend is going to be off the fucking charts in N'awlins style land.....lots of key players up there this weekend!! Biltmore Hotel across the street is a great place to stay, its a 40 min drive back to south shore but super worth it.

G. Love & Special Sauce...I'm there!

Looks like Soulive is playing this weekend. Worth checking out Red?

I don't spin fire myself snowlover, nor am I into the club scene. gambling for sure.

Who has the best snow right now? We are ski in to Heavenly so I'm sure I'll do a day there, but I'd like to find something worth skiing. Which will be hard considering the epic snow we had this last weekend in the PNW.

Thanks guys. Any other advice would be great

PNW and CO have the best snow right now :(

kirkwood always is the best bet for best snow. I haven't been to resorts this year yet, but I'd hit kirkwood before it gets Vail'd

shit I forgot about soulive.

PNW and CO have the best snow right now :(

NOT true. CO has the crappiest snow right now unless you are down south at Wolf Creek.

Kirkwood was really good last weekend, but with the high temps today who know what the weekend will bring.

If you find yourself on hwy 50 in or out of the tahoe basin, eat at the getaway cafe. South side of 50 just before you hit the agriculture inspection station leaving the basin. Awesome breakfast and lunch.

Snowlive should be dope this weekend, thought about making the trek for this, but there are enough decent shows in the City.

Soulive looks worth the trip. Not sure I'd book a room up north as we already have a house down south. Now I just need to find a driver...

Thanks for the tip.

Colvill, I have 4 discounted day passes ($50 each) that are good at both Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley if you are interested in skiing up here. With the merger this year you can even shuttle back and forth between the resorts during the same day. The inbounds skiing has been good, just not spectacular. Let me know if your into it.

Bramms - I might be interested. I'll need to check with some of the other guys.

If I were to pick them up how might we go about it?

Alpine is an epic resort, as is Squaw, but I prefer alpine.
