Sorry if this was already posted, interwebs are slow as shit this morning so I only did one search
reminded me of watching that Phish documentary at Great Went, where they took the most retarded commentary and spliced it all together

20/20'd
WOW
way to pick on the Disco Biscuits, ABC.

wow, so we are stupid.
who knew?

BAAAAAHAHAHA!!! Those interviews are fantastic! Was that Camp 04? That's what it looked like.
I love it how people unfamiliar with the band always over enunciate the name "The Diss-co Biss-cuits" like 'allegedly that's their name'
hahahahahaha
So they came to ILCC w/the intent to bash Headcount... 20/20 makes some valid points... Maybe Headcount could improve by handing out free booklets that explain the checks and balances of the U.S. government per the Constitution? That would be a start. You can tell that this interview bothered Marc, and why wouldn't it? I would have said fuck you ABC news if I had known they were coming to my festival to do a story on my organization why some young Americans SHOULDN'T vote. Devil's advocate is always enlightening, however...
I wanna' go back to Camp! (love the 7/11 background music btw).

hahahaha anyone know these people?
To be honest, I've always believed in some sort of voter competency examination. But to be fair, I guess you have to let retards vote, too. God Bless America.
lol, thats great
thats f*cked up!
They should have conducted those fan interviews at 4am.
the thing is, they would have found the same answers anywhere. Can you imagine the answers you'd get at a GOP rally in a rural area?
I think it's bad journalism to pick on young people. I'd make the assumption that a greater number of young people are more educated on our government than older people.

^^^ agree'd You could make that argument out of any demographic almost. There are a lot of people over the age of 40 that would give the same stupid answers to those questions.
ha. uh,.....oh man.
its the truth though.
bad education.
no desire to be civic minded.
working too many hours to care.
add in undiagnosed mental illness and drug use.
Not to mention one of the biggies which is that it only takes 4 years to become a jaded voter in our democracy.
just a few reasons why shits fucked.
Im still very proud of HC. though.

completely unfair to interview people in the early afternoon, how does anyone know how many senators there are before four hits of L and some mahli to get the brain working??? Plus, I think Stossell should have explained the intricacies of voting for a shem-ra ending.
roe v wade? my buddy goes is that when we wnt bankrupt or something. people today need to learn a little history and government. I mean what are they teaching kids today.
well at least it didn't turn out that headcount was trying to pull some fraud like ACORN
mt
Brownie looks pissed, look at that death stare he has on his face for part of the interview when Bernstein is talking.
I agree that it is totally unfair to pick on the younger generation like that, I can say with almost complete certainty that the majority of adults I work with wouldn't be able to answer those questions.

why didn't they go to the inner city and ask the people that they are getting registered there these questions?
they are registering a lot more then 100k
they are registering a lot more then 100k
That is fucked up. But they have stupid answers to questions like that on Jay Leno. The interview is almost ridiculous, who would say that it is some peoples' responsibility NOT to vote?
the people with the number of states had to be joking around
Okay, if you dont know how many states we have, you should honestly kill yourself.
the point is no matter how undeducated the country is and how little they know about government processes, they can still listen to two candidates and decide whether they think what one is saying will be better for the country than the other.
I bet you there are some scientists who don't know how many senators there are.

That is not so surprising. First of all how do you think Bush was elected this second time around? A bunch of uneducated retards made last minute decisions based on rhetoric. It's funny when they show these type of clips (for both sides) they always paint this picture that these few represent the whole and that we are all idiots. I also found it strange that they were so concerned with what people knew about general government to dictate if they should vote. I bet if they asked them about the election and the issues or who is running they would get a different response. It is not about being educated in government as a whole just understanding the issues at hand and this current election that is important.
sorry 51 states? bisco fans are e-tarded.
asking the number of states in the US is not "picking on the younger generation".
that answers the question: are bisco fans smarter than a fifth grader? no.

that wasn't a bad segment. sure, he didn't just fluff headcount, but the interviewer was respectful and they make it clear that the population at camp isn't that far off the general pop of the usa.
OP should write headlines for fox. it wasn't like they ripped on biscuit fans or headcount. and, considering what goes on at camp, it could have been far, far worse. it was actually kind of comical.
