yaaaa-uhh!! i made a decision not to post anything before the game, cuz when i do they suck badly, superstition. how can we not beat newly promoted teams at home, but beat Chelsea away. typical liverpool. oh well. we always beat chelsea. great day. suarez didnt look like himself today. both lineups seemed weird, was surprised torres and meireles both hardly played. Glen Johnson should just play RM, since everyone hates his defending, he almost caused a goal, but malouda blew the chance glen gave him. next week -> Man City. last season we lost 3-0, then won 3-0. we play well against the better teams so i say we have a better chance of beating them than we do against teams like norwich, swansea, or qpr

Wasn't a problem last season. Downing is a dead beat

Kuyt's always be a problem. His retard strength commitment and hustle just masks it a little bit. Why didn't they put in Bellamy against his former team?!

Happy to get a draw against such a prolific team but also felt we deserved more... we outplayed Man-City as shocking as it is to say... Carroll looked ok FINALLY but still just doesn't like to score for some reason.

BELLAMY was a scratch today as he is very close to Gary Speed who died earlier in the day

I think Bellamy could have been huge today off the bench but obviously he was not in the right frame of mind to play.

Reds certainly deserved 3 points today, 4 consecutive draws at home now, although I would have taken a point before kickoff. Carling Cup quarterfinal Tuesday at Stamford Bridge, hey it's a chance for a trophy, been too long.

No chance? Well, I didn't go back and look but at worst Liverpool are going for three in a row at Stamford Bridge as they won the league fixture there last season on a miereles goal I believe.

As for Tuesday's match, it will be difficult for the Reds as the FA fucked them with the schedule. Not sure what kind of lineup Daglish will be able to employ.

Lucas today put in one of the best shifts in a red shirt I've seen for many a season.

Here's a match comp: http://www.footylounge.com/films//milankakabaros/lucas-v-manchester-city-27112011-video_0cbe0133c.html

ACTUALLY.. i think Liverpool have won 3 in a row against chelskea and will be going for 4 ina row..

In FACT: not only did chelskea buy Miereles but also Torres. . DID YOU KNOW, that the game winner for liverpool over chelsea last fall was scored by Torres and in teh spring by Miereles??? who are chelsea looking at now i wonder???

AS FAR AS LUCAS.. thats my boy the last few years.. He is so fucking consistent and has really found a fantastic line with charlie adam.. they compliment each other well.

i have said it a few times.. noone i can remember got as much hate as Lucas got the first few months he was here but i confidently believe he was the best signing that RAFA made during his time at Anfield. He is a captain type player and fills the role so well w/ gerrard out

and boy is JOE HART ever special... this game easily could have been 4-1.. the save on the dive heading the other way with his foot on a very nice charlie adam shot.. the save on a sick downing volley later, and the saves against suarez and again carroll in the closing 10 minutes..

Joe Hart might be the best or one of the best keepers in teh world
» ididntknow11 Mon Nov 28, 2011 04:24 AM Process-stop Flag_blue Delete_user Mail-reply-sender Ip Quote
liverpool outplayed city throughout the match, joe hart is their savior today. balotelli is fucking retarded, both of his fouls were just moronic.

as far as liverpool, I thought downing had a good game, as did jose enrique and suarez was all up in kompanys head which I love to see. I thought jordan henderson was the big disappointment for the reds today, a lot of sloppy touches and a few careless balls that had some potential. i know hes young, but he really needs to start stepping up if hes going to be worth the 14 mil or whatever it was for him.

carroll is still like a ghost on this team, one good chance but if he ever plans on becoming the player he says he wants to be he needs to come up big in games like today

***4 in a row at stamford bridge**** 2 wins at stamford bridge in 9 days. dalglish undefeated against chelsea

Coates looked great today. Loved seeing Kelly's first ever Liverpool goal (kissing the badge gave me the chills) hope he is here a lot longer. He mentioned on twitter that spearing owes him money now( apparently they had a bet on who would score first senior goal) LOL

lets hope they can keep this run of good form in the works, cant drop any points in the upcoming weeks playing teams we should defeat. Coates was huge today, really hoping he gets in the starting XI more often.

i mean it's still early to say this buttttt. these next two months are going to be the decision of fourth place in our season. no reason we should lose to any of these teams in december and january. all leading up to february which is just a shitshow of fucking games

Eiffelrev,

Thought it was 3 @ the bridge, these two and the meireles winner. The torres brace was at anfield.

Either way, very happy with the result but very afraid of lucas on that stretcher. I really hope he isn't done for the year. He has been the heart and soul of the reds midfield this year.

you could be correct. I was quoting ladyodthekop, this girl i follow on twitter, pretty well respected in the community. she could have been mistaken though. reagrdless, this is the highest I've felt this season by far.

couple mates on twitter said they saw lucas leave the bridge in crutches. not good
