Wow, stay classy Boston fans. Granted, a minority of Boston fans but isn't this 2012?

Is it me or has the Devils/Panthers series been the most boring seven game series in history?

like you're even watching it.

Yes, I have been watching it. Been trying to watch as much of all the games as possible, since the Sabres didn't qualify and I love playoff hockey.

Obviously, the games have been close and I knew I would catch some heat from a Devils fan or two (since I don't think there are any Panthers fans on here) but I just mean the games have been tight, not a lot of open ice for either team. Decent amount of hitting but nothing crazy. It has been a well played series for the most part, just not super exciting for the hockey fan who doesn't have a dog in the fight.

Easy Swiffer, didn't mean to rob your home and kill your dog, I didn't say it was a bad series, just not as interesting as the others (ok, I did call it the most boring in history).

Carry on.

Going to have to flip back and forth tonight.

To say that in any way represents BOSTON fans is a joke. This could/would have happened anywhere. I have a million Bruins fan friends, and not ONE used the N word or even discussed Ward at all. There are always going to be racist douchebags everywhere...Boston...BUFFALO...wherever. This is not representative of even a minority of fans...just a FEW.

I said a minority of Boston fans not all of you, jesus. I would say these people were boston fans as they were clearly upset that the Bruins had lost, doubtful they were Caps fans or Coyotes fans.

It's not like I typed, "ALL BOSTON FANS ARE HUGE RACISTS ESPECIALLY N_T_R

Also, thank you for informing me that there are racist douchebags outside of Boston, I was totally unaware of this fun fact.

Because I am made very well aware of this everyday in Atlanta.....since I don't live in BUFFALO.

Remember that next time some shit like this happens in Philly, thanks.

In retrospect, Ward is a pretty garbage hockey player, he only got that goal because bitch ass Zanon was in lala land instead of covering his assignment.

Between last nights games and my Game of Thrones crack-like binging coming on PT is like a well needed Xanax. I don't follow hockey like I used to, but have caught a few games this year with my uncle being in town - and man did I forget why playoff hockey is the most intense of the major 4 sports in America. There is nothing more nerve-wracking than a one goal lead with 5 minutes to play and the opposing team is pressing in a game 7. Yes, sudden-death OT is thrilling, but those last few minutes a goal up really tighten your sphincter. But Lundqvist will not be able to keep saving this team if they don't score more. We are going to find out quickly weather it was a hot Anderson or the Rangers lack of ability to generate goals on this level.

There was a lot of Pens fans calling Wayne Simmonds racial slurs on twitter after a FEW of the games. Shit is not cool but it happens everywhere by people that see Blackness as an anomaly in hockey, and therefore exploit their Blackness. Every team has fans like these lurking in the shadows, and it's every right-minded person's duty to exploit the unnecessary prejudice that is allowed to exist in our society. The Pens fans that acted towards Wayne Simmonds the same way Boston fans acted towards Joel Ward does nothing but reaffirm that hockey fans are racist, and I highly doubt they would act so angry if one of their team members was Black.

What an intense Devils/Panthers game last night. Great way to finish a boring ass series. New Jersey's gonna have a whole new style of playing thrown at them next round vs. Philly (compared to Florida). See how they do.

I know man, I ripped that series yesterday and then they play a super intense Game 7!! Congrats Swiffer and other Devils fans on here. I hope Marty can turn back the clock against the Broad St. Bullies.

That's a very good point Captain Jewbacca.

I thought it was a great finish last night...just wanted to see the Panthers win but oh well. Hard to know who to root for in the East...I guess New Jersey? Ehhhh that sounds bad. Lets go Blues!!

My uncle had Ranger season tickets from the early 70s to early 2000 (Fuck you Dolan) and is married to a black woman. She will tell you that hockey fans are some of the nicest people in the world but get awkward around black people.

Good thing there aren't any Florida fans here, because in all reality the refs took the game from them.

They scored their 1st goal but the refs called it back, and called a goalie interference penalty on the Florida player, when it was Henrique who clearly pushed him into Marty. Would've been 3-2 Florida in regulation.

These refs have been PATHETIC so far these playoffs.

I mean, obviously it was a great series for a Devils fans, but to be honest, it was the most boring series to watch, and I watched every series.

It doesn't matter if it was boring or not, because they advanced.
