The United States consumes about 600,000 pounds of cocaine yearly... I'm assuming there is a raging back-door subculture that surrounds it.. So, what are your experiences with it or the people who use it?
I've never met anyone that has smelled the cocaine, sorry :(

anyway, i dont really care much for the effects (pretty familiar with them), more interested in the culture of people known as "Cocaine users" . stereotypically bunched up with wall street traders, hookers, crack heads, doctors lawyers etc..

that is like saying there is a masturbation subculture. just because everybody does it, it doesn't mean there is a lot of pomp surrounding it. everybody masturbates, but that doesn't mean there is a cultural importance given to the practice of masturbating. its just something that people do. cocaine is the same way. people do cocaine, but that's about it.
to me, cocaine is the least pretentious of all the illegal drugs because of this fact. with LSD you get the hippies and their sacramental approach to using it. with heroin, the junkies become enslaved to the drug and it takes over their lives. with MDMA and other research chemicals you get the ravers who only come out at night to eat copious amounts of the drug, dress like cartoons, and dance like assholes. with marijuana you get the stoners, who have quite literally deified the drug and worship it. you don't get this with cocaine (except when smoked). everybody does cocaine, but nobody makes a big show of it.

All I have to say is, this is the worst drug there is (not for you, but in terms of enjoyment)
The ratio of how fucked up it gets you divided by the cost is just AWFUL. It takes hundreds of dollars worth of coke to get you as fucked up as $15 of MDMA does. I really don't find any enjoyment in doing this shit anyway, it just makes me irritable and my nose hurts like shit when I come down. I can't believe it's so popular considering it barely does anything.

Oh no...I've done some really good shit before. I know plenty of people who are into it, and I have at least a vague idea of good and bad yayo. I just HATE what it does to me, I find the effects to be extremely unpleasant, and I've tried just doing a lot of it to see if it ever gets to be "fun" and it doesn't really unless I'm really drunk.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I can do a tenth of MDMA and feel like I am having the best night of my entire life, but there is no amount of cocaine that could get me anywhere close to that point.
