Yo guys,

I will be in Richmond, VA on business the night Excision, Liquid Stranger, and Lucky Date are playing the National. I am already staying accross the street from the venue. I have ZERO to do that night. Worth the 23 bucks?

Never heard one lick by Excision. Heard it's American heavy dubstep, which I normally do nort like. Know anything else about the other 2 artists?

lol could have done without that obnoxious rusko tune at the beginning of the mix, but beyond that stellar bassline garage/grime mix.

Ha. He always throws down a little bit of cheese (some others in there too that I could do without). However, he makes it up with everything else, most always turning me onto an artist or two Ive never heard of before.

Sorry I haven't followed you too much. But I've seen that you've persisted for quite sometime. I have this track that I love and can't seem to get more sounds like it. I think its future garage but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm the style and possibly suggest more sounds like it?

Real concern: who would you puck in a DJs royale between Hyperdub and Brainfeeder? Three DJs per label; one song per dj then the next dj picks. True back to back tag team set. It's hard cuz hyerdub not only has the producers but some of the best DJs in the game. I'll post mine after I think about it; just a little ignited discussion.

Hyperdub and brainfeeder? I think hyperdub and tectonic would be a better "matchup"

Btw, yo vogue is awesome. Really like the direction dirtybird is taking in 2012.

New hxdb & distal ep on tectonic is sounding great. Awesome blending of styles.

And new kidnap kid ep, "alphaville," is not bad either. Not as good as previous releases, IMO, but still solid nonetheless.
