Seriously, fuck this guy with the biggest, veiniest dildo ever made.

I'm sick of all you pieces of shit who defend him. All of you need your own place to go and commit mass suicide like Jonestown.

I'm not defending him, but lying about rape is really one of the worst things a person can do, and it DOES happen. I'm sure most rape accusations are true, but any time I find out about a falsely accused rape I get really fucking pissed, that is some extremely scummy shit.

There's a lot of things with Ron Paul, people just like him because he supports things that this country really does need, just along with a lot of other stupid shit. He's like a drug with way too many side-effects, where-as the Republicans are like poison and the Democrats are a placebo.

Of course it happens. But he is talking as if the majority of reports of rapes are lies.

Re: him in general, I liken him to a wolf in sheep's clothing. Sure 1/10 of what he says are things liberals can agree with but it seems to me like his supporters just overlook the stuff they disagree with no matter how offensive and detrimental it is.

that he is my favorite republican candidate by a mile says all you need to know about my feelings on the reps. Best advertising money the dems can spend in this campaign would be to fund more republican debates,
» dosedpeachez Sat Feb 04, 2012 09:09 PM Process-stop Flag_blue Delete_user Mail-reply-sender Ip Quote
Well he promotes social and civil freedoms that you would think in a "free" country you should be given and it shouldn't even be a question, yet somehow in this ass backwards place these things are up for debate and it really just makes me sick to think about. That's a big deal to a lot of people. His foreign policy is also a big deal to people...most of us don't really want our troops scattered across the world.

But yes, you're right, people do overlook all the dumbass shit he says/has planned if he by some god's miracle became president. I personally think the Libertarian view is the way to go, people should be able to fucking live their lives without being bothered unless it's like really harming society, but I'm not a fan of 75% of his ideas because despite being a Libertarian he is still kind of a crazy extremist who isn't very grounded in reality.

Fair enough. I am not a fan of 90% of what he says and think 50% of that is offensive but that is because I am more of a socialist. At least you can parse the rational shit from the rest.

Yeah I read his whole plan, it's fucking nutzo. I lean towards socialism too, but that's dealing more with economic problems than social problems. I like a lot of what the Scandinavian countries are doing...democratic-socialism is the way to go IMO. If Norway wasn't so fucking cold I would definitely try living there for a while.

crazy old man is crazy.

i've been thinking about it lately though, and maybe the youth's strange fixation on ron paul will be like the baby boomer's liberalness in the 60s. they were hard left and then grew up to put reagan and the bush family in charge.

so hopefully our generation will do the same thing (but opposite). they can attend ron paul rallies and spout off shit abotut gold for the next 10 years while their votes don't mean shit then when their older realize ultra conservative fiscal policies weren't the way and become quite liberal as old people who actually vote.

Some random tweeted at me that false accusations might be as high as 45% w/o any real stats to back it up. His cultists are fucking vigilant, I will give them that.

That's retarded. How would you even measure something like that? Obviously there's been false rulings in court before and we have no other way to know what was a "real rape" or not...there's nothing you could possibly say to back that statistic up.

He never said he thought most raped women are liars... He used the term "honest rape" meaning a women won't be able to use the estrogen shot as a method of birth control by saying they were raped if they weren't.

someone sounds a little threatened by the prospect

gotta respect a man who's clearly going against the establishment grain when said establishment is fucked.

unless you're happy with the current state of things. thats another story.

lol @ socialists

socialist europe is crumbling to her knees

socialist america is a shell of her former self

socialism = corporatism

american socialism (post FDR) is the art of making two customers out of one working taxpayer

non-welfare state: one working taxpayer buys medicine for one, clothing for one, food for one...

welfare state: one working taxpayer buys medicine for two, clothing for two, food for two...

double corporate profits, while at the same time on the aggregate level not having to hire another worker, because that worker is taken care of by the state ie the working taxpayer. this mechanism has led to the biggest corporations in the history of the earth.

Using a term as disgusting and insensitive as 'honest rape' implies that liars are the rule and 'honest' rapes are the exception.

exactly.

it's strange that paul gets crucified for shit like this yet people just keep voting for people like bush/obama/typical politicians that continue and create illegal wars and bankrupt our country at the whim of corporatist policy. paul gets outrage for an unsavory phrase (that was taken out of context) and obama continues to skate on by while expanding massive civil rights abuses. that makes sense.

i suppose being a socialist would necessitate hating paul for pretty much everything he stands for though and this is just a way to express that.

full disclosure: i will not be voting for paul/obama/whomever is the republican nominee so don't try and lump me in with whatever you may think a "typical" paul fan is.

i just find it interesting the backlash he - and his supporters - are receiving as if being opposed to our disastrous foreign policy of endless war and endless spending (ie. vote buying schemes) is something trivial or less important than a weird sounding phrase he used.

this country is completely fucked.

you shouldn't worry about ron paul, OP. it isn't like the industrial scum-fuckers who own obama and romney will ever let paul get elected. and if by some chance paul got elected, he would get JFK'd quicker than you can say monetary policy.

serious question for ron paul supporters --

It's one thing to support certain aspects of his political position (and i don't find anything wrong with that - it is your choice to support a political candidate no matter what their views are), but how do you balance supporting this particular candidate with the things he has said in reference to blacks, jews, homosexuals, and women? Is it a "i agree with what he says about these groups and support his political stances" or is it "im willing to forget the hateful things he has said about these groups because I support his political stances which i deem are more important than the civil liberties of these minority groups"?

what im trying to get at is having you explain to me how you can support a bigot for the most important political position in the world.
