Feel the exact same way. Although I have definitely been feeling Billy Goat on a pretty substantial level lately. Gimme moe good tunes!

they're morons, pure and simple. I dont care what "they say, they are fucking rtetards for not furthuring billy goat and putting it on the back burner. this and runaway overlude not making the logical cut made me totally lose my faith in whatever moe is doing.
it is a total fuck you to their fan base which pays their mortgages. fuck em.
the new album is ok, but a waste of time if you factor in how long it took for them to come up with something new to offer. this is what they came up with> it could have been epic, but , ass usual, moe knows limboe.
:)

tell it, moegreene.

Billy Goat is some inspired writing. Been listening incessantly. The rest of this crop fall short.

Billy Goat easily carries the crop for me. Easily my favorite new song since McBain. Still growing with endless possibilities. Classic Rob structure with the main hook reprising at the end of the song > an extra jam > ? = legit all-timer potential. That Seattle Goat>Kids>George is still the segment of the tour for me though I haven't heard NV or last night yet.

Love Puebla (2.11.11 into Brent - yikes) and Haze. DFD is showing signs of being unlocked.

Paper Dragon hasn't done anything for me yet. Suck A Lemon is good on the acoustic disc.

As for the album, it's ok. I really like some of the acoustic tracks better than the electric versions. It might have been interesting to mix it up and just release one disc, especially since they favoured so many untested mellower tunes over the ragers the hardcores were hoping for.

DFD is the only song for me that didnt have a better moe.coustic showing. that said, the moe.coustic LALA rages the electric one. maybe because it didn;t have the producer idiot input, who ruined LALA, moe.stly because the goe.t or runaway quaalude didn;t make the cut in favor of lesser songs. i would say BG is the best song since runaway.

leave it to be moe. to say about what they think is a proper moe. song. those two songs are robs best. moe.'s best.

moe. are band of morons, as you can hear by the finished result....

I like DFD too....it's not Billy Goat but definitely a solid keeper.

The rest are mediocre to throwaway material

no bumpy, it's because that fool has been around for a lot longer than you have in the communoe.ty.

lookit that! I just did a lame moe. pun that isn't that funny, on purpose.

e-lois is known from far and near, from coast to coast by most .rons that are in the know. I met him back in '98 in santa cruz and again in '99 down along sunset strip and even a few times more in other places wherever moe. played. and I know full well that a lot of other peeps that I don't even know have a story or two to tell about his pinkness.

It's truly criminal that Billy Goat wasn't given the studio treatment. Criminal.

Now that would be a helluva album (in no particular order)

Can't figure why some of these tunes didn't get on the album if all unrecorded originals truly were fair game as Al claims,. What genius threw some of these out? I'd add One Life as a song that also should have been considered. It beats out Suck a Lemon easily.
