Meat puppets bandswitch. That is all.
I tripped my balls off at the friday independent show and had myself one hell of a good time.
although I have to admit that I had the beer flu and had to deal with the squirts back in the crapper during the Not Coming Down opener. Other than that, it was good times.

i think I am dunzo with moe.. its more cartoonish music. they outgrew me, or I it. aint a fan of the new album at all, and it seam to dictate their direction of choice. good luck and moe power to them. this aint for me any longer. may stuill hit shows, Only to see my moe villa peeps, but not for the band any more. their idea of a great show differs from mine in spades. their ideas blow.

god damnit. Yeah i feel the same exact way. Yet i keep signing up for more :\ , its kind of fucked up. There are some people that know the power & potential they hold but they're like an AK-47 with no bullets, its not really good for anything except for display & after its been looked at so many times it stops being interesting....

Every time I tell myself "I am going to cut down on moe. shows next year'' they do a few amazing shows like the NYE Portland run and pull me right back in.
2010 was as great musically to me as 2005/2006 but then 2011 was reminiscent of 07/08 in the "meh." department...not a whole lot of shows really worth going out of your way to hype up and make threads about. Random segues yes, whole shows, not so much.
But then they ended 2011 with 2 of my some of my favorite shows in Portland for NYE and I remember why I follow this band so closely. Plus moe.down 2011 was my favorite since 2005.
All that said, I will continue to chase the show dragon another year in 2012 with moe., lets see where it takes me. And it all starts with Burlington > Boston > Albany in a few weeks. God speed!

move to florida = dont see them nearly as much = never take a show for granted = always remain a fluffer
jugg - Can't say I've ever taken a show for granted or even have come close to having a bad time at a moe. show. I'm just strictly talking from a musical standpoint.
