so how many tickets yall think they'll sale for this? Will it be as difficult as say Rockygrass and or getting a Town Park ticket in T-ride or should we have no probs getting ticks? Come on 4-20 :)

For two glorious late-August days, we will bask in the waning summer sun, cool our feet in the St. Vrain River, and take one final summery gasp of mountain air alongside four thousand of our closest Kinfolk.

The hometown boys of Yonder Mountain will headline the main stage each evening with inspired, epic sets – their only Colorado shows of the summer. Each afternoon close musical kin of Yonder Mountain will create their own musical frenzy. We will boogie, we will shine, we will share in something unforgettable.

i dont understand how they can say only colorado shows of the summer when they hired them to play TBF

I thought I read somewhere that capacity is going to be 4,000 with enough camping for 2,000.

I'm psyched about the bluegrass/cycling double header. As for travel issues, if it's anything like the Tour of Missouri a couple years back, I doubt that the roads will be closed for more than about 30min (although on-street parking will likely be verboten). At Tour of Missouri, I saw a six-lane boulevard go from free flowing traffic to totally shut down and the bike race headed the wrong way down the street in all of about 5 minutes. The logistics of the rolling enclosure was just as impressive as the race itself. Admittedly though, the sirens and helicopters might be annoying to concert-goers for a few minutes as the race goes by (although the helicopter at the Crossroads last year was way cool).

I've been in a couple of meetings discussing race logistics. You are exactly right, rolling road closures for 30 min at a time.

It's about a 10 min walk is all. Some people prefer it, more shade and you can get right down by the creek.

what time do you think cars will start lining up/campgrounds open? I would imagine Thursday night, but not 100% certain...

Ha!

I've got a couple friends that are worried that IF we do get onsite, it will be a cluster and they want to just get the other campground "because it will be easier."

I'm trying for onsite regardless and having Meadow as my backup choice....
