The party ain??t over yet!

Below is a quick lowdown on the plan for SCI Summer Tour 2007. We will jump from weekend to weekend through a series of dates that will include a variety of our favorite types of shows. Click here for the Summer Tour calendar.

Dates begin on July 12-14 with a three night run at the legendary Beacon Theatre in New York City.

Next up are two nights in the Bay Area as we return to Berkeley??s Greek Theatre on July 21 & 22. Look for special guests Sound Tribe Sector 9 on Saturday and Railroad Earth on Sunday.

The weekend of July 27-29 will include three shows in Oregon.

Here is the basic story: There is no place we would rather be than Horning??s Hideout. The Horning family is currently restructuring land use permits for their property. The completion of this process is required before an SCI event can take place, and it is not yet clear if the process will be completed in time to confirm an event for this summer. Regardless of the outcome at Horning??s Hideout, SCI is planning on being in Oregon during this weekend. Oregon has been a true home away from home for SCI, and we would not miss being there on this tour.

BIG Summer Classic will return in the form of a three-day camping festival on the weekend of August 3-5. In the tradition of the inaugural BSC tour in summer of 2005, the weekend festival will feature a slew of SCI??s musical friends. Confirmed so far are Los Lobos, Yonder Mountain String Band, The Greyboy Allstars, JJ Grey & MOFRO, The Wailers, EOTO and many others to be announced. The site for the festival is about 30 minutes outside of Salem, Missouri. We can??t wait to jump in to the mighty Camp Zoe. The Big Summer Classic will be produced in association with Peak Experience Productions.

Finally, August 10 - 12. Red Rocks.
