There are only 3 that I can find, and they're not in the usual Live Phish sleeve format with the Pollock illustration, etc. Aren't these already out on LivePhish.com? What's the difference?

yeah, weird that they are in a jewel case...these were very popular downloads though...maybe they're selling them for people like me who have no download capability!

Interesting. I mean I preorder the tours, so I have no need to buy these.
At least I was at one of the 3.

man, are these getting the matrix treatment? just go out and resell the most downloaded shows of 2003. pretty smart of them.

These were the 3 best shows of 03 for sure. That's cool.

if they are packaged and everything does that mean they might have mastered the cd's as well, making them louder?

We own them already, as well. Maybe it is just a function of download demand - lots of people wanted these shows, so they're releasing them for those who can't DL? They're expensive, though, so I'd hope they have some good liner notes or "extras."

Good call, Phish, choosing those three CDs. Those are my favorites, for sure.
Though they probably just went with the three most downloaded shows, not including IT. (Saving that for the DVD!)

"Pittsburgh jam? why track this out as such?"
^^^^ I think it's because they would have to pay more royalties for releasing C&P.

If they do that for IT and they've been remastered to sound better, I know there'll be at least 1 email being sent to Customer service regarding the shitty levels of the livephishdownloads version...

I was ordering Pollock Christmas cards (hee hee!) and was just clicking around the site and saw the Nassau one on the top of a "Brand Spanking New" page. When I clicked around, it wasn't there, but I kept clicking my browser's back button and found it again.
I'm sure they're just prepping to put it out there for good, just like they always do with Dry Goods, ticket info, etc. They need a proofing server, if you ask me!

Why wouldn't they release shows that aren't available for download? That would make more sense to me.

pittsburg jam is tracked as such for legal/$$$ reasons.
if crosseyed and painless is played longer (on the official tracking) the boys gotta pay the talking heads more in royalties.
thats why they label the jam pittsburg jam. so they get more dough.
