there was about a 10 second window where everybody in that place just went ape shit...getting chills thinking about it. One of the loudest I've ever heard at a phish show

It was crazy because it wasn't like the place started going nuts when the opening notes were played. The arena literally exploded all of a sudden and seemingly without much cause, basically toward the middle of the song. Trey hit one of those huge chords and BAM! It was one of those moments that you really can't accurately describe, and can only paint a very broad picture with words. It's not like there was a huge buildup either, it just happened.

The moment it did, I turned to my brother and screamed, "WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?"

The place was just boiling during maze and the first part of First tube...

Completely boiled over the pot and singed everything in sight during some of the peaks. Unreal.

Mike was indeed smiling, and when Mike is smiling, you know it's good (especially if he's smiling while Trey is engaged in some type of antics). Mike loved Trey for a few minutes last night.

First Tube after Maze, which followed perhaps the greatest Guyute ever performed. They dove into the deep end on this one, and even a usually lame song like 1st Tube took on a whole new life.

"Maze, First Tube" works great! Just sets it up~
