2 As midnight approached, a countdown began and a giant disco ball was lowered from the lighting rig and came to rest in a 2010 pedastal at the front of the stage
3 At the conclusion of Down with Disease, the disco ball is opened to reveal a seat inside and a large canon is rolled to the front corner of the stage. A large net with a glowing red X on it is lowered at the rear of the arena.
Fishman, donning an old school leather flying cap, is helped into the disco ball and the ball is closed. The disco ball is loaded into the canon and Page fires the canon using an oversized dynamite plunger. Through the use of pyrotechnics and props in the rafters, it appears the ball goes through the arena roof and a helicopter arrives on the scene shining a light through the hole in the roof. Trey asks if anyone in the crowd can play the drums and he selects Sarah from Pittsburgh to play drums for the remainder of the show.
4 Trey thanks all members of the Phish organization by reading their names off a list "as quickly and lyrically as possible" to the tune of "Blue Moon"
